You Too Can Become A Wikipedian

Wikipedia is probably the most ubiquitous Wiki (a website that acts like an encyclopedia, where anybody can contribute or edit prior content).  This makes for a "free for all" environment where the value of the entry is dubious at best.  However, it can be a vehicle for putting information in the hands of a large audience for no cost.

To try this out, I signed up to be a "Wikipedian" (anyone can do it) and wrote the following first few articles:
These pages concentrate on "solo vernacular dance" because that is something that one person can do for exercise to traditional music.  The sean-nós dance style is still rather vigorous, but other styles like Flat Foot Dancing (AKA Flat-Footing), Hoofing (AKA Hoofin'), Buck Dancing, and Soft Shoe (casual tap dancing performed in shoes without metal taps) has some simpler steps that are more suitable for beginners.

An already outdated copy of one page is provided below in iPaper format. This is an online document viewer function that provides relatively quick and easy viewing of documents in a format close to what they would like look in print.
